- ALSC Bark Limitations. This is a reminder that the ALSC has it debarking requirement in place to be implemented on January 1, 2009. The ALSC, in re: to WPM, ISPM 15, IPPC, APHIS, SWPM proposal amendments are still out for country review, so the AMERICAN LUMBER STANDARDS COMMITTE WILL NOT have a revised standard to implement on JAN 1, 2009. Given what we now, we are advising clients to start limiting bark on a voluntary basis based on the IPPC proposed ispm15 Bark limitations.
